We went over the tipping point ...

By Audio Pervert - 4/01/2020

The past two months the exponential surge of the corona virus has manifested as a pandemic across five continents. Today we have 193 nations with 970,000+ people infected (there's a total of 195 nations on earth). Tomorrow the virus would be present in every nation. By the time we finish writing this article (4 hours), another 3000+ new corona cases would be registered around the world. The virus is set to infect more than 1 billion people, over the next three months (CDC /WHO). The leaders of big and small nations, along-with leading civil institutions, military and medical technology combined has failed to protect the citizens of earth, be it young or old, poor or rich, living in the north or south, east or west. Whatever one's race and face maybe, the virus is ravaging our civilisation at an exponential rate. A civilisation who's foundations were clearly gutted and collapsing. A virus that pushed us over the 'tipping point'. A virus that exposed the appalling state of global preparedness to detect and respond. Off-course it's so easy to give up or give into mass-hysteria in these dire dark times. Yet we could re-examine human folly, even in the face of panic, collapse, death and disaster.

Shock Doctrine !
Naomi Kline, writer, feminist and critic of neo-liberal economics explains how crisis and fear will be used to control the human population and earth's resources. In her 2008 award winning book The Shock Doctrine, she discusses the advent of 'Disaster Capitalism' : a omnicidal routine, of regulating freedom with fear, and injecting money as medicine, to keep a sick (and failed) economic system alive. One that will perpetuate misery, disease and inequality amongst human beings, destroying health, wealth and security of billions of human beings for decades to come. "I implore leaders to stand together and heed this appeal, joining the Secretary-General’s call" WHO Director General's Appeal: Global Humanitarian Response To Combat Corona Virus. Such announcements inject temporary hope and relief, yet the reality of international relations and the savagery of international politics between the poor and rich nations is what transpires as reality. The infection is set to cross 1 billion at it's current exponential rate by mid 2020. The death-rate also climbing at an exponential rate as of now. Even if just 2% out of the total infected population were to die, we are looking at the thousands of mass graves, destroyed families, devastated regions, a busted global economy plus many more social, political and environmental sorrows to follow. We can say with a bit of experience, facts and history, that leading international institutions like the WHO, UNESCO and UN will be at best miserable samaritans, begging inside an self-serving neo-liberal world. And what about our great prime-ministers, excellencies, presidents, ministers, marshals, eminent scientists and guardians? The answer is quite obvious...

Jenga! We all fall!
Mitigating the impact of this severe shock through economic measures will benefit the rich and not the poor nor the weak. The International Monetary Fund claims that "by 2024, the economic downfall caused by the pandemic can be reversed with policies which will target vulnerable households, regions, financial assistance for smaller firms across the world —for example, by waiving social security fees, utility bills, and channeling credit through fin-tech firms". In other words, this is called lying by omission. The corona virus has exposed how weak and arbitrary the economic and financial systems of the world are. Like a game of Jenga. Hastily built and prone to total collapse, if we were to pull just one of the tiny bricks. "The planet has a way more sophisticated arsenal, beyond human comprehension mostly, to eventually terminate the industrial civilisation..." says George Tsakraklides in an article titled The Virus That Dared To Stand Up To Capitalism.

The Catastrophe Collective!
The corona virus pandemic has caused a domino-effect across the world, exposing an insecure and weak civilisation and it's rotten economic, financial, industrial and social structures. Systems which we took for granted far too long, ignoring all warnings and signs of decay. We are already blaming each other, the outsiders, the chinese, the tourists or whatever the hysteria (shock capitalism) feeds us. A virus cannot be blamed. But we as a race are collectively responsible for this catastrophe. No amount of lock-down, staying home, social distancing, praying, banging pots, pans or pianos on the balcony will make the situation better. The virus is here to stay! The damage and harm rising exponentially.  Civilisation will never be the same again. Our hope is useless without resistance - against the failing systems, the mass lockdowns, manufactured hysteria and above all the authority based (criminal) states - Combined enemies of humanity, freedom and the living planet. Virus or no virus, we are erasing the foundations of our society and freedom, and the future generation's as well. Here we are, hiding in some corner of the world, wishing tomorrow would be a better day.

Our days as a race are numbered, lets live free and passionately pursue a life of excellence.  Adios!
