A new tune titled FRIDAY ! A post-minimal overture !
this tune is recorded/composed and mixed on ableton live 8 using a Doepfer Dark Energy / Native Instruments Reaktor & Battery. Recorded via the Focusrite Pro40 ADA. An attempt to express a minimal ideology via careful selection of tones, beats and space. The production of this tune is limited to mere 10 tracks of audio and synthesized Midi. Unlike most lavish sounding compositions and elaborate DAW projects, this tune is an attempt to overcome and subvert producers/composers who claim that is it necessary to pile up sounds and use 'processor hungry tacky' VSTs to create electronic music.
